The new facility was selected to
accommodate business growth from the
automotive and tire industries. “This
larger facility will enable us to
manufacture more products as well as
increase product development focused on
the North American market”, says John
Funcheon, vice president and GM of
Kokusai, USA. “The new location will
also allow more room for customer
product demonstrations and for equipment
acceptance testing.”
Kokusai is a leading international
supplier of balance and uniformity test
equipment for the automotive and tire
industries. Other products include shaft
straighteners and other various test
measurement products for motors and
rotating equipment. Kokusai was founded
in 1969 and its world headquarters are
located in Tokyo, Japan with
manufacturing in Japan, China, Korea and
the US. Kokusai is listed on the JASDAQ.
